it's a boy!

well, we've known for some time, but just don't have any pics scanned.
here's a pic of the rocker we'll use in the nursery. it's being repaired and refinished so it will look better once done. it's a family piece from the early 1900's. pic of possible fabric for cushion. it is going straight to the upholsterer once it's done at the refinishers. we're really on using light orange, brown and white in nursery, so the accent of blue, green and deep red would be a nice 'pop' of color. it's the stripe, not the flowers by the way :-)

just some cards

just some cards i made 2 sundays ago after church. i was caught up on chores, bo was napping and i didn't want to turn on the tv. i had so much fun getting back in touch w/ my hobby. at some point i think i should write some friends and send them out. but for now, it's nice to see them and think how much fun i had making them. simple really...just some stamping, rub-ons, add-ons and adhesive rhinestones.

my sweet abner labner. very soon he won't be the baby of the family anymore. what a sweet face.

Christmas at mom and dads

always a good time at mom and dads. mom made a little "whosit" stocking for baby, since we didn't what sex it was at that point. dad and d being silly in a couple of pics. so good to see d so happy w/ his girl shawn.

church Christmas party

we had great fun announcing at the party. God is so good that we were able to have an ultrasound pic for the party. wasn't due for it for several more weeks. He has such a sense of humor-at work the day before i was mocking a pt about something they wanted and i quipped, "well i want an ultrasound tomorrow, but that's not going to happen". it made me feel pretty crummy when it did. God speaking, please don't ever underestimate me or what I will do for you. such undeserved love.

our nephew arrived at 41 1/2 weeks and almost 9 lbs. he is so very cute.

mom's booth

this is a pic of my mother in law's booth at st. louis school craft show. it was her first one and she had a lot of fun. she crochets numerous things. oh, how that will come in handy when the baby arrives.
