started holding his hands about 2 weeks ago

big boy in his bumbo holding his head up on his own. he couldn't do that just 3 weeks ago.

okay, since last time. we did get our 4 month shots. he weighed 16lbs, 4 oz. the dr. said we should slow down what we're feeding him b/c if he continues on the same weight gain trend, he will be too big. he was in the 95th percentile for weight(weighs more than 95% of other 4 month olds-and that's full term 4 mo. olds, he's not measured against premies anymore). he gets to start rice cereal as soon as i buy some. his high chair is down from the attic and ready to go. if he continues to do well holding his head in the bumbo, the exersaucer will be coming down soon. he's smiling a lot and talking a lot more. it seems likely that he will be laughing before too long, and rolling over soon after laughing. so much going on. babies are amazing. next dr. visit isn't until december 1st. briggs will be able to experience sweet potatoes on thanksgiving, so that is fun and probably messy, too!
