8/19 big grin
August was a BIG month. Briggs had thrush for about 2 weeks. He got his first round of shots; He did really well. Such a little trooper; Not much crying and Tylenol took care of the discomfort. He is MUCH more awake these days. Can stay awake for close to 1 1/2 hours. He's had his first sniffles this month as well. He does NOT like the nasal aspirator. The use of it guarantees screams. BIG, HUGE news......he has slept until 6:30am every night since the 23rd. That is 9 nights for those that are counting. I feel like I have some sanity again and the house is clean again as well. He is starting to grasp some play links and doing much better holding his head up.
He goes on his first trip Sept 17-20. Our Sunday school class is going to a lake in Kentucky and renting a house for the weekend. I'm making a list of things we need to take and I'm wishing we could magically transport his entire nursery and contents to the rental. Excited about Labor day holiday weekend. the fair will be in town and would be fun to go, mainly for the food :-)
Bo is still busy as ever w/ work and school. So proud of him.
I start MOPS (Mother's Of PreSchoolers) tomorrow. just time w/ other mom's for fun and fellowship. It'll be nice to have a reason to leave the house every Wednesday. Although, this week the weather here has been phenomenal. Mid-70s during the day. We've enjoyed walks around the neighborhood or to the park. Too nice not to get out.
